    Format: decided by headcount
    Once registration closes, the number of players picks the format:
    Round robin league
    Smaller field. Everyone plays everyone once. Win 3 · Draw 1 · Loss 0.
    Knockout bracket
    Bigger field. Lose and you're out. Dramatic, but efficient.
  2. 1.♜
    One game each
    Every pair of players plays each other once — a single round robin. Colors are decided by coin toss (or rock-paper-scissors, we're not picky).
  3. 2.♛
    Ten minutes each
    Whatever the format, every game is played with a 10-minute timer per player (10+0, no increment). This one is not up for a vote.
  4. 3.♚
    3 · 1 · 0
    Win = 3 points, Draw = 1 point, Loss = 0 points.
  5. 3.4.♝
    Play nice
    Standard chess rules apply. Touch-move, be nice, have fun.

    Your game, your schedule
    Once pairings are out you get an email introducing your opponent, with a link to report the result. Reply to agree a time and a corner of Anahit, play, then report.
